Cybersecurity is a global issue and the shortage of cybersecurity innovation is a challenge for all industry sectors. It is therefore everyone’s responsibility to close the global skill gap and provide guidance in equipping cybersecurity professionals with the knowledge they need to become a successful cybersecurity entrepreneur.

In consideration of this, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) is partnering with LE Global Services Sdn Bhd (LGMS) to offer NxiDEA – A Cybersecurity Entrepreneur Innovation Program for Malaysians who are passionate in making an impact to the cybersecurity industry.

The 8 week program consists of a 1-to1 mentorship by veteran cybersecurity professionals, training on cybersecurity fundamentals, secure development, domain knowledge and business fundamentals which are required to become a successful cybersecurity entrepreneur. A demo day at the end of the program allows participants to present and pitch their innovations to public and private sectors.

This program aims to develop 30 new innovative products for solving industry challenges in bridging the gap between solutions against evolving cybersecurity threats. Especially for the FinTech, IOT and Industry 4.0.
